Request an estoppel certificate (title companies and sellers)

What's owed on a Fox Valley home before closing: how to request it, fees and timing.

Steps

   Step 1: Go to the estoppel request form. Enter the Fox Valley street address, the Current owner name(s) and the Expected closing date 1. Tick Expedited delivery if you need it within 3 business days.

   Step 2: Under Requester, give your name, company, the Email the certificate should go to, and a phone number. Choose Submit request; you'll get a confirmation email with a reference number.

   Step 3: The Fees & payment box 2 shows the standard fee, the expedited fee and the extra fee if the account is delinquent. The Association contacts you about payment.

4. 4

   Step 4: Once paid, the signed certificate is emailed within 10 business days (3 if expedited), as Florida law requires (s. 720.30851).
