Accessibility statement

Our goal

We design this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Pages are checked with automated accessibility testing on computers and phones whenever they change.

What the site does to help

• Larger text: use the A A A buttons at the top of each page (on phones, in the menu) to enlarge all text. Your choice is remembered on that device.
• Keyboard: everything can be reached with the Tab key, with a visible focus outline.
• Screen readers: headings, labels, landmarks and descriptions for buttons, icons and images.
• Color and contrast: text meets contrast requirements, and color is never the only way information is shown.
• Phones and tablets: every page works on small screens without sideways scrolling.
• No time limits on forms, and nothing flashes or plays sound on its own. The home page slideshow can be paused.
• Spanish: the public website and sign-in pages are available in Spanish (Español link at the top).

Known limitations

• Some documents the Board uploads (for example scanned PDFs of older governing documents) may not be fully readable by screen readers.
• Printable letters and mailing labels are sized for paper and don't reflow on small screens.
• The Board's property map uses map images from outside providers; the same information is available in the searchable list beside it.
• The resident portal and Board Console are in English.
