Did you know?
Residential parking along the street is prohibited in the Fox Valley subdivision. Residents are required to park in their garage or driveway. Reference page 11 of the Architectural Guidelines.  Parking along the street is allowed for short term visitors only (parking pass required if overnight).

Okaloosa County 

Okaloosa became the 52nd county in Florida on September 7, 1915, and was created from parts of Santa Rosa and Walton Counties. The purpose of Okaloosa County Government is to be responsive to citizens in providing an appropriate level of accessible services on a cost effective basis. Critical County values include the following: continual improvement of infrastructure; health, safety, and well-being of the citizens; preservation of natural resources; responsible economic development; leadership; and stewardship.

City of Crestview

The Fox Valley subdivision is within the city limits of Crestview.  Crestview is the hub City of Okaloosa County, located at the junction of three major highways; U.S. 90, State Road 85, and Interstate Highway 10. Giving access within minutes to military bases, beaches, water parks, and a large array of night life activities. Here in Crestview you will find an assortment of comfortable homes, churches, schools, recreational facilities, businesses, and industries all working together as a happy, growing city.

Eglin Air Force Base

Eglin AFB (Main) is approximately 20 Miles from Fox Valley and is located in Okaloosa County, Florida. Eglin is an Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) base serving as the focal point for all Air Force armaments. Eglin is responsible for the development, acquisition, testing, deployment and sustainment of all air-delivered non-nuclear weapons. The 96 Test Wing, 33d Fighter Wing, 58th Fighter Squadron and 7th Special Forces Group and just a few of the major units that call Egin home.

HOA Board and Committee Positions

PRESIDENT: Addresses/coordinates day to day homeowner, committee chairpersons and developer issues that arise.  Presides over executive committee and HOA meetings. Develops, coordinates and executes the HOA annual budget.  Interfaces and attends meetings as required with Crestview city officials.

VICE PRESIDENT: Performs the president’s responsibilities in his/her absence.  Attends and supports executive committee and HOA meetings.

SECRETARY: Attends and supports executive committee and HOA meetings by recording minutes. Provides meeting minutes to the president in a timely manner. Maintains HOA official records.

TREASURER: Attends and support executive committee and HOA meetings. Provides financial status report at executive committee and HOA meetings.  Coordinates with accounting firm on all financial matters, requests and reports.  Assists the president in developing and tracking the annual budget.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS AT LARGE: Attend and support executive committee and HOA meetings.  Assist the president in researching, coordinating and resolving HOA issues.

ARCHITECTURE CONTROL COMMITTEE (ACC) CHAIRPERSON: Presides over ACC committee meetings and briefs committee actions at HOA meetings. Implements HOA covenants and promptly addresses homeowner requests and issues that arise.  Attends and supports executive committee meetings. Provides committee annual expenses to the president to support the annual budget development. Committee members provide support to the ACC team.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON: Presides over social committee meetings and briefs the committee actions at HOA meetings. Develops, costs, coordinates and executes social events. Provides committee annual expenses to the president to support the annual budget development. Committee members provide support to the Social Committee team.

BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON: Presides over beautification committee meetings and briefs the committee actions at HOA meetings. Promotes activities and researches capital investment improvements for HOA common areas. Provides committee annual expenses to the president to support the annual budget development.  Committee members provide support to the Beautification Committee Team.

Pick up Schedule:

   Mondays - Regular Trash (Large green bin)

   Wednesdays -  Recycles (Small recycle bin) ;  and Yard Trash (in bags, barrels or stacked cuttings no longer than 4') 

   Thursdays - Regular Trash (Large green bin);  and Bulk Items Pick-up:  Appliances require special appointment for pickup.  Call Waste Pro at 850 689-8600 for appointment. All other normal household items to include items such as furniture and mattresses should be picked up on Thursday if put out by the curb late Wednesday. Construction materials such as old carpeting, old decking , sinks, toilets etc will not normally be picked up, and are supposed to be removed by the construction contractor.

Notes: 1) Holiday Schedule.  WastePro observes three holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.  If regularly scheduled pick-ups fall on one of those Holidays, the pick-up will be the following day.

           2) All trash containers should be stored out of sight when not set out for pick-up.  e.g. in garage, or behind 4' shrubs, fence or wall.
